First of all, you should know that your true love could be just about anywhere. He could be the man that you ride on the elevator with every morning, the waiter that took your lunch order, the guy that you sit next to on the subway on your way into work. Because of this, you need to keep your options open. Don’t just think that you’re going to pick him up at a bar one night. You could meet him at virtually any time of the day.
Some people are turning to less conventional methods of finding their true love. They are searching online, going to speed dating events, and even hiring modern matchmakers.
Unfortunately, there is no one who can tell you specifically how to find your true love. What you can do, however, is keep your mind and your heart open.
Know who you are.
One thing to remember is that you need to be yourself. Don’t try to pretend to be someone you’re not just to try to find that special person. For instance, if you don’t like drinking and you’re not into the club scene, then don’t go looking for him at a bar. After all, you don’t feel comfortable there so why should you put yourself through that? Instead, try going to places that you enjoy. For example, if you love to read then how about hanging out in the local bookstore, drinking coffee. You would be more apt to meet a man there with similar interests.
Don’t compromise on something important.
You can know what you want, just be realistic about it. You don’t want to say that only want a guy with blond hair. What about all of the great brunettes out there? On the other hand, if there is a trait that you really find important, like his religion, then don’t compromise on this aspect. You should never compromise on something important.
Hang in there!
Above all, don’t give up. Hang in there and he will eventually come around. As a matter of fact, it might not be a matter of how to find your true love, but how to recognize him if you see him!
