First Date Tips: Conversation Starters

First Date Tips: Conversation Starters

Now that you are already in your first date, what should be your first date conversation starters? What would you two talk about? Is the weather a good first date conversation starter?

First off, relax! Let the talk flow between you and give yourself a chance to build rapport with them. Ask questions that are not answerable by a mere yes or no. Make sure that you listen to their answers. You can always tell what interests a person through the animation in their voice, the twinkle in their eyes, and their over-all regular feel. So, take mental notes on the things that they like and use them as good first date conversation starters.

Next, don’t be afraid to tell them something about yourself too. Just do not monopolize the entire conversation with “me, myself, and I” answers because that’s a big turn off. Share some facts that you think they might find meaningful and relative thoughts that can jive with their own facts.

Fish about some topics that they are passionate with. Keep throwing some things about politics, nature, Hollywood and features. Find the topics that they are most passionate with, then elaborate further and became a nurse or something

And last, recall all the things that you talked or chatted with each other. This would be a good baseline to find conversational things that you can talk about later after the date. Remember the things that they are okay WITH already so that everyone can have a good time in the first date.
