First Date Advice: The Where, What, and How

Like most first time daters, there are sure to be a number of first date questions that you have in your mind. Of course, these questions cannot be avoided and must be answered well for you to fully enjoy your first date. So here are some of the common first date questions and their answers:

1. Where do I take my date? First of all, don’t think of somewhere too extravagant since the first date must be light for both of you. Suggest that you go to a café or a restaurant for a lunch date or an early dinner date. Or, you can go to the museum or the zoo. These places are public and can be a lot of fun if you want it to.

2. What do I wear? Well, definitely, a sexy dress with slits and plunging neckline or a black three-suit tuxedo is definitely out of the question. Consider the venue. If you are going out for lunch, then just wear a conservative sundress for the girls or a button-down shirt for the guys. If you’re going to go outdoors like the park or the museum, then you can wear pants and a blouse for the girls.

3. How should I act? Well, first off, relax and just be you! The first date should be all about getting to know each other. And seriously, you can’t get to know each other if you act like someone other than yourself. Don’t try to impress your date by pretending to be someone you are not.
